MISO announces four improvements

The Midcontinent ISO announced on Sunday several improvements that recently went live to ensure an increased benefit for MISO members and end-use customers. Extended Locational Marginal Pricing: Establishment of Extended Locational Marginal Pricing (ELMP) allows MISO to better ensure that the true cost of energy is represented in the market. FERC: Resolve PJM-MISO seams issues

March 4, 2015 — The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission last week increased its pressure on PJM and MISO to resolve their longstanding boundary issues.
