NRG Energy’s GenOn sells Pennsylvania power plant for $520M
NRG Energy’s (NRG +0.2%) bankrupt GenOn unit agrees to sell its Hunterstown power generation facility in Gettysburg, Pa., to P-E firm Platinum Equity for $520M.
Hunterstown is a combined-cycle gas turbine generating power plant that provides 810 MW to the PJM electricity grid, with the ability to supply more than 648K homes.
