Xcel Energy restores power after outage in south Fargo
Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) – Xcel Energy has restored power after an outage that hit parts of south Fargo Sunday night.
Initial reports indicate the outage was caused by a power pole that caught on fire.
At its height, around 5,600 customers were without power.

FARGO (KFGO) – Xcel Energy is working on a power outage that hit parts of south Fargo starting around 10 last night.
Crews have been on scene most of the night in the 100 block of 36th Street, a frontage road on the east side of I-29, where initial reports indicated a power pole caught on fire. That was around 10 p.m. Sunday. That knocked out power to large area’s generally south of Main Avenue.
Power has been restored to some area’s, however, much of the area from I-29 east to 25th Street and points south beyond 13th Avenue remain without power as of 4 this morning.
