Consumers Energy: Storms, outages expected Wednesday into Thursday
Severe thunderstorms and winds of 50 miles per hour are expected to hit Southeast Michigan Wednesday, July 11 into Thursday morning, according to Consumers Energy.
The company stated it is currently restocking its mobile storm units and essential materials in preparations of service outages.
According to Accuweather.com, Wednesday will be hot and humid with a high of about 86 degrees with a couple of early showers and a thunderstorm. In the evening, more storms are expected, some with the possibility of being severe.
