Centauri Energy gets CAISO nod for 300-MW solar project
June 16 (SeeNews) – The California Independent System Operation (CAISO) has approved for a queue position a 300-MW solar power project developed by Centauri Energy LLC, thus allowing it to connect to the state’s power grid.
The US renewables developer announced this in a press release on Tuesday, saying that the solar park will be built in three phases. The first one is expected to become operational in 2016 or 2017. The project in Stanislaus County has been in development for over five years, the firm added.
