Rolling Blackouts Possible for Valley
The Rio Grande Valley may be in for another summer of rolling blackouts.
A new report from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas says this area is not equipped to handle long stretches of extremely high temperatures.
Electric companies are updating the Valley’s outdated infrastructure. Those projects, though, are scheduled to be finished until next year.
